Analysing Levi advert.

Representation/ Denotation/ Connotation
pic 1) The representation of the pictures shows that not only adult work is important, kids' work is also important but the way the advert has been made it makes it look amusing because kids don't usally do up their parents tie. This is another way of representing their company in a way that would be aimed for everyone. The people did not have direct adress in the photo in order to show what they are doing (getting dressed) therefore you cannot have direct adress while dressing up. The logo was shown in a visible font size and easy to find and bold enought to read to produce their company.

pic2) The picture indicates everyone's job is important so they put three people to stand in front of a distictive house which supports the slogan and also to promote their company by putting emphasis on the slogan. The people look like teens or around mid 20's so this can show what the slogan has said. In this photo they did have direct adress because they were just standing their and not doing anything. The brand in both pictures was called levi's and the trademark represented in both pictures in the same ways. The mise en scene design was simple and plain it was a representative of the brand.

Target Audience
Thpic 1) This first picture is aimed at everyone because it shows both child and adult so this would be suggesting it's for everybody.

Pic2) Mostly aimed for teens or above but can also be aimed at for all ages in order to promote their company.

Coca cola advert

The connotation of the advert is telling us that coke is opended with happiness in other words buy it, The coke is worth buying. It takes place in an old settingof time judging on what the two men arewearing. Also the mise en scene of the advert (everything inclued in the frame) shows us it's not morden. One of the men shared his coke with the other man, eventhough they were rivalling (there was a few facial expression that was telling us that they were enermies.)

It's target audience was aimed at anyone 4 and above. It was sutible for all ages. The title appears and the end and the advert starts automatically without a title at the beginning.
There was no sound/dialouge from the characters. There is a scene where by it contain a an effect called focas where the camera is focased on somewhere and blured in the background.

The denotation shows share coke with everyone in order to buy there drink (advertise) The character looked hot and sweaty in an abandoned land of just sand and plants and yet they seemed to have an ice cooler. According to the face expression they were baring their teeth at each other and this shows they don't like each other. The were also pasing so this must mean they were rivalling.

This was set in an old period of time due to the music being played, it wasn't morden it was quite olden type of music but catagorised as classical (not our generation). The movements said it all and whenever the scene got more intense so did the music and it increased in volume.
